NCAA Championships
- Qualified for the 2018 NCAA Championships, swimming in the 200 IM, 400 IM and 200 fly
- Finished 27th in the 400 IM with a time of 4:11.70
- Posted a 31st-place finish in the 200 fly with a time of 1:57.24
- Swam a 1:58.17 in the 200 IM to finish 36th overall
- Scored points in all three of her events at the 2018 SEC Championships
- Finished sixth overall in the 400 IM with a career-best time of 4:08.22

NCAA Championships
- Qualified for the 2017 NCAA Championships, finishing 28th in the 400 IM (4:10.99), 30th in the 200 IM (1:58.32) and 54th in the 200 breast (2:13.47); her 200 breast and 200 IM times marked career-bests
- Swam at the 2017 SEC Championships, finishing second in the 400 IM B-final (4:08.65), sixth in the 200 breast C-final (2:14.50) and 29th in the 200 IM (2:00.23)
2015-16 (Freshman)
NCAA Championships
- One of two Florida freshman to qualify for the NCAA Meet
- Competed across three events, swimming to a 36th-place finish in the 400 IM (4:14.45), a 46th-place showing in the 1,650 Free, and a 55th-place mark in the 200 IM (2:01.51)
- Tallied 46 points off a pair of Top-20 finishes
- Qualified for the ‘B’ final in the 400-yard medley relay and finished 10th overall, clocking a time of 3:38.60 to bring in 34 team points
- Finished 15th overall and brought in 12 team points in the 1,650-yard freestyle, touching out with a time of 16:27.67
- Also finished 26th in the 400 IM (4:18.28) and 45th in the 200 IM (2:01.95)
- Participated in all 10 regular-season duals and registered eight wins (six individual)
- Clocked a season-best time in the 400 IM (4:09.22) which ranks 10th all-time in the Florida record books
NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION:
- Participated in the 2017 US Open Swimming Championships, racing in the 200m fly, 200m breast, and 200m and 400m IM
- Qualified for a final in each of the four events, with her best finish coming in the 400m IM A final, in which she placed seventh with a time of 4:47.64
- Swam in the B final in both the 200m fly and the 200m IM, finishing with a time of 2:15.48 in the fly and 2:16.22 in the IM
- Rounded out her competition in the C final of the 200m breast, posting a time of 2:34.43
- Competed in the 2017 Phillips 66 National Championships
- Raced in the 200m Individual Medley, as well as 400m IM
- Made it to the B Final of the 400m IM, finishing sixth in the final and 14th overall with a time of 4:46.73
- Made it to the final after recording a time of 4:48.19 in the preliminary round
- She posted a time of 2:18.31 in the 200m IM.

Prior to Florida
- According to CollegeSwimming.com, Burns is the No. 5-ranked recruit in the state of Florida and is the No. 29 overall swimmer in Class of 2015.
- In the pool during her career at Columbia, Burns is a five-time Florida state high school champion. Nationally, she is a USA National Junior Team member and was a 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier.
- Burns’ accolades continue into the classroom, as she was a scholastic high school All-American.
