2013: Advanced to the NCAA Championships in the women’s 10,000 meters, earning Honorable Mention All-America honors in the event … Finished fourth at the NCAA East Preliminary Round in a new personal best of 33:28.10 in the women’s 10k, good for second all-time in program history … Third in the women’s 10k at the SEC Outdoor Championships … Fifth at the Florida Relays in the women’s 5,000 meters, crossing in 16:49.07.
2012: 2012 SEC Indoor Champion (5,000m) in a personal best of 16:12.64, the second-best performance in Florida school history… Had never run on a track before competing in the United States
PRIOR TO FLORIDA: Transfer from El Paso Community College in Texas, where she was the 2010 NJCAA national women’s half marathon champion, clocking a time of 1:20.05.6, earning first-team All-America honors … Claimed the 2010 NJCAA National Championship in cross country, taking home the crown with a winning time of 17:16 in the 5K event and helping her team to a sixth-place finish at the national meet … Placed third at the 2009 NJCAA Cross Country Championships in a time of 17:47.
