Jackie Moore is in her fourth season with the Gators in 2025-26, and has helped lead Florida to the postseason in each of her first three years in Gainesville, playing in the WNIT in 2023, and the WBIT in 2024 and 2025.
In 2025, the Gators upended No. 20 Alabama on their way to a berth in the SEC Quarterfinals, and went on to win their first three games in the WBIT before falling to Minnesota in the semis. In 2026, Florida posted its fifth consecutive winning season, knocking off No. 19/20 Ole Miss in the process.
Moore assisted in the recruiting and development of a trio of McDonald's All-American's in Liv McGill, Me'Arah O'Neal and Laila Reynolds during her time in Gainesville. McGill was a preseason All-SEC Second Team selection in 2025-26, and was named to the Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Award Midseason Watch List. McGill and O'Neal also each earned SEC Player of the Week honors in 2025-26.
A native of Panama City, Fla., Moore joined the Gators after spending the previous 10 seasons at Arizona State, serving as the associate head coach during her final five.
Originally joining the Arizona State staff on June 14, 2012, Moore boasts more than 30 years of coaching experience having also served as an assistant at UMass, Boston College, Miami (Fla.) and Nevada. During her time with ASU, Moore’s instruction and recruiting were instrumental in ASU’s run of a school-record seven consecutive 20-win seasons (2014-20). That stretch included a school record six-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. ASU was preparing for its seventh straight trip to NCAAs before the cancellation of the 2020 NCAA Tournament due to COVID-19, as well as a share of the 2016 Pac-12 regular season championship.
Prior to her time at Arizona State, Moore spent three seasons (2005-08) at the University of Nevada as an assistant coach. During her time with Nevada, where she served as the recruiting coordinator, the Wolf Pack made their first postseason appearance in school history during the 2006-07 campaign.
Moore also had a brief stint at Miami (Fla.), acting as the co-recruiting coordinator while organizing scouts and developing perimeter players in helping the Hurricanes reach the NCAA Tournament in 2004.
In 2002-03, Moore served on a coaching staff that helped guide Boston College to its first NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in school history as they finished the season with a 22-9 record.
Before her stint at Boston College, Moore spent three years as an assistant coach at the University of Massachusetts. With the Minutewomen, she was responsible for the team's recruitment of prospective student-athletes, scheduling and scouting opponents and supervision of the team's pre- and post-season conditioning programs.
For six seasons (1993-99), Moore was the head coach at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, Fla. Moore began her coaching career at her alma mater, Armstrong State College in Savannah, Ga., where she was an assistant for two seasons.
A four-year starter at guard — two years a Santa Fe CC and two years at Armstrong State — Moore earned her B.A. in Psychology from Armstrong State in 1991. She added a master's degree in Health Science from Georgia Southern University in 1993.
