Jen Fay joined the Florida Women's Basketball staff as the team's assistant coach and recruiting coordinator in April of 2026.
Known for her skills on the recruiting trail, and her ability to connect with student-athletes, Fay was also a member of Coach Reiss' Rhode Island coaching staff from 2024-26 where in her second season in Kingston, she helped the Rams to a 28-5 record and the team’s first NCAA appearance in 30 years.
That followed five seasons on the coaching staff of her alma mater, Quinnipiac College, and a playing career that made her one of the most decorated players in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) history.
During her five seasons as a player at Quinnipiac, Fay was a five-time MAAC regular season champion and a four-time MAAC Tournament champion. She also helped lead the Bobcats to four NCAA Tournament berths, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2016-17.
Fay was a three-time all-conference selection, earning a spot on the All-MAAC First Team in 2017-18, as well as a two-time MAAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player. She also was a standout in the classroom as a four-time MAAC All-Academic Team honoree.
At the time of her graduation, Fay ranked 16th in program history (10th in its Division I history) with 1,277 points, and eighth in made three-pointers with 146. She averaged over 10 points per game in each of her final three seasons at Quinnipiac, leading the Bobcats in scoring from 2016-19. Her best statistical season came in 2017-18 when she averaged a team-leading 13.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. As a senior in 2018-19, Fay averaged 12.5 points, a career-high and team-leading 6.8 rebounds, and a career-high 2.7 assists per game.
Fay graduated from Quinnipiac with her Bachelor of Arts in history in May 2018, and completed her Masters of Arts in teaching in secondary education in May of 2020, joining the staff as a graduate assistant coach for the 2020-21 season. She was elevated to an assistant coach during that same season, and earned the title of recruiting coordinator prior to the start of the 2023-24 campaign.
