Men's Tennis Signs In-State Player

Dolberg is currently ranked 42nd in the national Boys 18 & under rankings. Seventeen of the players ranked above him will age out before the end of the year and thus he is presently ranked 25th among boys eligible for a year-end ranking. He is currently ranked No. 3 in the he state of Florida for Boys 18 & under.
Among his playing accomplishments, Dolberg was a semifinalist at Boys 18 & under Winter Nationals this past January and also at the USTA Boys 18 & under Nationals doubles competition in August. Dolberg was a quarterfinalist at the USTA Boys 16 & under Nationals in August of 2000 and twice in his junior career Dolberg appeared in the top 10 of the final year-end USTA junior national rankings.
“We are excited that Jordan will be a Gator,” Jackson said. “He is a fiery competitor that can improve a great deal. We feel that him being from Florida and really wanting to be here is a big positive.”
The Gators are currently 16-6 on the year and ranked No. 13 in the nation after tying for third in the SEC during the regular season. The team hopes to be chosen as one of 16 squads to host a NCAA Regional when the brackets are announced on May 2.
