No. 2 Stanford Next for No. 11 Volleyball

On Saturday night, the No. 11/10 Florida volleyball team punched its ticket to its 17th NCAA regional semifinal in the last 18 years. Early Sunday morning, the Gators learned of their next opponent.
Florida (27-3), seeded 15th overall, will face second-seeded and second-ranked Stanford in Moby Arena in Fort Collins, Colo., next Friday night. No. 17 Purdue and No. 6 Hawaii will square off in the other regional semifinal match at Fort Collins. Match times are to be announced.
Stanford (28-3) advanced to the NCAA regional semifinal by virtue of a 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-15) victory against No. 24 Long Beach State on Saturday night in Palo Alto, Calif.
