Seven Gators Qualify for Finals

Notes:
- Gemma Spofforth will attempt to win her second individual championship and third overall of her career (all three came this season)
- Spofforth will attempt to become the first Gator since Janie Wagstaff in 1994 to win both the 100 and 200 back championships. Spofforth has already set the pool record in the 200 back in preliminaries.
- Clark Burckle will attempt to win his second SEC Championship in the 200 breast
- Caroline Burckle will have the opportunity to win her fifth individual SEC championship in her fourth different event and eighth overall.
- Shaune Fraser will look to defend his title in the 200 fly
- Sarah Sykes will swim in the first SEC Championship final of her career in the 200 fly
- Three new Gators etched their names in the UF record books in preliminaries, Amanda Hartley, Clark Burckle and Omar Pinzon
- Monica Dodson will attempt to make her second final of the meet on the platform. She finished fourth on the three meter spring board.
- 17 Gators (eight women, nine men) qualified for the finals on the last day of competition and six more will swim in the consolation finals
