UF's Wilks Third in 200m, Glasser Fourth in Pole Vault at USA Juniors

University of Florida freshman Terrell Wilks capped a strong weekend at the USA Junior Championships at Jesse Owens Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, finishing third in the 200-meter dash, while Daisy Glasser finished fourth in the pole vault.
Wilks, winner of the 100-meter dash on Friday night, ran a time of 21.08, near identical to his 21.07 from the night before, into a strong headwind of -2.2 meters per second.
Antonio Sales of South Carolina won the event in 20.94.
Glasser used a significant personal record in the pole vault to finish fourth. The freshman came up with a mark of 13 feet 3 ? inches, The clearance was Glasser's first mark of over 13-feet in her young career.
Glasser negotiated the height on her second attempt, but could not clear the next height at 13-5 ?. Rachel Laurent, competing unattached, won the event with a clearance of 13-10.
