Head Coach Mary Wise Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Mary Wise addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Coach Wise reviewed the team's performance last weekend at the Campus USA Credit Union Invitational, where Florida swept Jacksonville (3-0) and rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat No. 23/17 Long Beach State (3-2).
She then previewed the Gators' busy week, when the squad hits the road for the first time this year, traveling to Florida State on Monday, before leaving the Sunshine State to play at Colorado on Thursday and at No. 17 Colorado State on Saturday.
Coach Wise also discussed and fielded questions about the benefits of her young team playing a five-setter against Long Beach State, on the status of senior Kelsey Bowers, on taking such a young squad on its first road trip, on the play of junior Elyse Cusack and on Colorado natives Cindy Bathelt and Kristy Jaeckel.
