Florida head volleyball coach Mary Wise announced Monday evening on her radio show that the Gators and three national volleyball powerhouses have agreed in principle to play each other in a tournament each of the next four years, with the location of the event rotating each year.
Florida is scheduled to meet Penn State, Stanford and Texas in a tournament each year for four consecutive years with the inaugural 2010 event slated to be played at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
The 2010 edition of the tournament will take place Sept. 10-11 in Gainesville, Fla. Match times and a tournament name have yet to be announced.
