Coach Todd Morgan Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida assistant track coach Todd Morgan, who oversees the cross country program, addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Coach Morgan talked about the third-ranked women's team winning the NCAA South Regional meet last weekend and earning an automatic berth into the NCAA Championships that will be run Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, Ind. Individually, redshirt sophomore Rebecca Lowe (Australia) won the race and all five scorers placed in the top-17 of the field.
The Gator men's team had its season come to a close with a fifth-place finish at the regional.
The Gator men finished fourth, led by senior Justin Taylor (St. Augustine, Fla.), who just missed a spot to compete individually at the NCAA meet.
Coach Morgan also talked about being one of the teams in contention for the NCAA title, on the influence of the weather in Indiana compared to Florida's and on the women's team's focus this week.
