Coach Todd Morgan Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida assistant track coach Todd Morgan, who oversees the cross country program, addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Coach Morgan shared the excitement of the fifth-ranked women's team winning the Southeastern Conference Championship meet, with all five scoring runners finishing among the top-10, paced by redshirt sophomore Rebecca Lowe(Australia), who won the race. It marked the Gator women's first conference title since 1997, fourth overall, and the first individual champion since Becki Wells won back-to-back titles in 1995-96.
The Gator men finished fourth, led by senior Justin Taylor (St. Augustine, Fla.), who earned second-team All-SEC honors with a 10th-place finish.
Coach Morgan also talked about getting ready to compete at the NCAA South Regional on Sat., Nov. 14 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The top two teams from each regional advance to the NCAA Championships, held Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, Ind.
