Mann, who first began playing volleyball her freshman year of high school, helped Eastside win back-to-back District 4-5A titles and was named the Gainesville Sun's 2008 Class 4A-6A Player of the Year.
A 2007 third-team All-State selection by the Florida Sportswriters Association, Mann helped lead the Rams to their first two appearances in the FHSAA Class 5A regional in program history.
Mann, who has a recorded vertical leap of 10-4, is a student in the International Baccalaureate program at Eastside. She is the sixth volleyball player from the Gainesville area to sign with the Gators since the 2000 season and that group includes current Florida players Elyse Cusack and Kelsey Bowers.
Over the past two seasons with Mann in a starting role, the Rams compiled a 50-10 record. She also is in her second season as a member of the Gainesville Juniors club team in the spring of 2009. As a starting middle blocker last season, Mann and her team advanced to the Junior Olympics.
