Perhaps the most exciting news to come in the world of Florida volleyball on Thursday was the announcement that, because of the Southeastern Conference's new agreement with ESPN, five SEC regular-season matches will be televised by ESPNU this season.
Two Florida matches will be shown in prime time due to the new agreement. The network will broadcast Florida at South Carolina on Wednesday, Oct. 7 and Florida at LSU on Sunday, Oct. 11. Both matches will air at 7 p.m. ET.
Coach Mary Wise says the new agreement is "easily one of the best things to have happened to SEC Volleyball."
FSN South will release an additional television schedule of SEC matches in the coming days, according to the league office.
