Head Coach Mary Wise Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Mary Wise addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.

Coach Wise shared her assessment of the team's opening weekend, when the Gators posted sweeps over UNLV and Colorado State, before previewing Monday evening's home contest against in-state rival Florida State and competing in the 31st Annual Community Bankers Classic in Stockton, Calif., on Friday and Saturday.

Coach Wise also discussed and fielded questions about the middle-blocking concerns, on newcomer Brynja Rodgers, on any surprises she's encountered to date regarding this year's team, on Florida's two losses to Florida State in the 24-2 series history under Coach Wise and on the play of sophomore Colleen Ward.
