Head Coach Mary Wise Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Mary Wise addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Coach Wise shared her assessment of the team's three tough victories last week that began with a thrilling 3-2 win over instate rival Florida State, followed by another 3-2 victory over No. 11 Stanford and a 3-1 decision against Pacific to capture the 31st Annual Community Bankers Classic Championship.
She then previewed this weekend's action which takes Florida to Tampa, where the squad will compete in the Tampa Twice Tournament to face host USF on Friday at 8 p.m. and No. 3 Washington on Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Sun Dome.
Coach Wise also discussed and fielded questions about the energy level of the team after last weekend's travel to and from the West Coast, on the improved play of sophomore Colleen Ward, on this weekend's competition at the Tampa Twice Tournament, on playing back-to-back matches for the second time this year and on where she feels the squad is at this point in the season.
