Gray Horn to Compete at Mt. Sac Relays Multi-Events

Sophomore Florida multi-event athlete Gray Horn (Waynesfield, Ohio) will compete in his first decathlon of the 2010 season when he participates in the Mt. Sac Relays Multi-Events at Azusa Pacific University this Wednesday and Thursday at Cougar Athletic Stadium.
Horn, the 2009 Southeastern Conference decathlon champion, will participate in the two-day, 10-event competition beginning at 4 p.m. ET Wednesday.
Horn, a 2009 NCAA Outdoor All-American in the decathlon, ranks fourth in school history in the decathlon with a personal-record score of 7,490. During this past indoor season, Horn placed second at the 2010 SEC Indoor Championships with a personal-record heptathlon score of 5,653, which ranks second all-time in UF school history.
This will mark Horn's lone decathlon competition of the 2010 regular season, in preparation for the SEC Outdoor Championships to take place May 13-16 in Knoxville, Tenn.
The Mt. Sac Multis includes a decorated field that features 2010 NCAA indoors fourth-place finisher Nick Adcock of Missouri and fifth-place finisher Lars Rise of Missouri.
