Head Coach Andy Jackson Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Andy Jackson addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Coach Jackson provided his assessment of the team's 6-1 victory against South Carolina on Saturday in the regular-season finale.
He then previewed talked about the sixth-ranked Gators (17-3, 9-1 SEC) earning the No. 2 seed in this week's SEC Tournament that begins Thursday in Lexington, Ky. Florida received a first-round bye and begins action on Friday, April 23, playing the winner of the match between Vanderbilt and Mississippi State.
Coach Jackson also discussed and fielded questions about the team's competitive nature, on freshman Sekou Bangoura, on falling short of winning the SEC regular-season title, on playing in Lexington, on the contributions of the three first-year players and on the strength of the SEC.
