Head Coach Mary Wise Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Mary Wise addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Coach Wise shared her assessment of last weekend's Southeastern Conference season-opening road wins, as the Gators defeated No. 16 Kentucky and No. 14 Tennessee, both by a 3-1 decision.
She then previewed this week's action, when Florida travels to Tallahassee, Fla., on Wednesday night to take on intra-state rival and 15th-ranked Florida State at 7 p.m. ET. The Gators, who are playing their fifth straight match against at top-25 opponent, will be looking to claim their 19th consecutive win in the all-time series with the Seminoles. Florida then plays host to SEC foe Ole Miss on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
Coach also discussed and fielded questions about right-side efficiency, on if she's surprised by the team's success, on the series versus Florida State, on being able to sustain the intensity each match and on the continued stellar play of junior Kelly Murphy.
