Coach Wise Recapped Weekend's Sweeps, Previewed Upcoming Road Trip

University of Florida head coach Mary Wise addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Wise was pleased with the performance in the first set in both matches over the weekend as the Gators swept Alabama and Ole Miss over the weekend. Terrific serving and defensive plays have shown that the Gators are progressing as some people are making better blocks which helped the defense in getting more digs. Over the weekend, Wise said they were trying to put the best combination of players on the floor and give people game experience that did not have as much throughout the season since it is so difficult to simulate it in practice.
Wise hopes the Gators can take their success on the road this weekend against two teams that are neck-and-neck, competing for the SEC West title.
Florida prepares for its final SEC road weekend, traveling to face LSU on Friday and Arkansas on Sunday.
