Coach Wilby Recapped Last Weekend's Performances, Previewed Upcoming Schedule

The University of Florida's Martyn Wilby, associate head coach for the women's swimming & diving team, addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
The Gators had a busy week that began at home with a victory on Wednesday against FSU and continued in Ann Arbor on Friday and Saturday against Michigan and Stanford. Florida also defeated both the Wolverines and Cardinals for the first time since the annual matchup began in 2008.
Wilby said that with the victory over Stanford, the Gators have the confidence that they can beat anyone in the country and can compete with anyone. Over the weekend the Gators also participated in some long-course races which gave them opportunities to prepare for Olympic style competition and are good for the swimmers' future.
The Gators will not face an opponent this week, but will commence competition when they travel to Atlanta, Ga. Nov. 18-20 for the Georgia Tech Invitational.
