Pairings Announced for 2011 Nike Volleyball Big Four Classic

The pairings have been announced for the second year of the Nike Volleyball Big Four Classic to be hosted this year by Stanford University at its Maples Pavilion in Palo Alto, Calif.
The first year of the event took place in Gainesville, Fla., last season and, at the time, featured four of the top five teams in the nation. This is the second year of a rotating four-year event that will be played at the campus site of each of the four participating teams.
The 2011 pairings include Florida squaring off with Texas at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 9, while host Stanford will meet four-time defending NCAA Champion Penn State at 10 p.m. ET that night. The winners will face each other on Saturday, Sept. 10, while the losers of the opening two matches will square off in Saturday's other match.
