Florida Volleyball Adds Four Televised Matches to 2011 Schedule

The University of Florida volleyball team will now appear on national or regional television nine times during the 2011 season. Three televised home games have been added to the broadcast slate, as well as the Gators' Oct. 30th showdown in Lexington against SEC rival Kentucky.
Sun Sports will be the home to three of the newly televised contests, as Florida's Labor Day meeting with Iowa State will be shown on tape delay at 8:00 p.m. The Gators defeated the Cyclones last season, 3-1, in Omaha, Neb. at the Runza/AVCA Showcase.
Florida will then play host to the LSU Tigers on Sunday, October 9th, which will air live at 1:30p.m. on Sun Sports. The Gators' road trip to square off with the Wildcats in Lexington will also air live on Sun Sports at 1:30p.m. on Sunday, October 30th.
Florida's matchup with Georgia will air live from the O'Connell Center on Fox Sports Florida, as the Gators take on the Bulldogs at 7:00p.m. on Sunday, November 18th.
The Gators, the 2010 Southeastern Conference Champions, were 10-2 in televised matches last year en route to the first-ever 20-0 SEC season and the No.1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.
