Bo Carroll returned the opening kickoff against Arkansas 94 yards for a touchdown and the rout was on.
The No. 1-ranked Gators defeated the Razorbacks 56-7, as UF's defense set a school record by holding Arkansas to minus-56 yards rushing, thanks to seven sacks and the kickoff by Carroll (right), who needed just 16 seconds to give Florida the lead for good.
"I'd been waiting all year for a hole like that one my blockers gave me," said the speedy Carroll. "I just hit it."
With the win, the reigning national and four-time SEC champion Gators extended their record run of SEC wins to 25 straight.
That streak would end the following week at LSU.
