Keegan Highlights WTennis at USTA Clay Court Invitational on Friday

UF freshman Kourtney Keegan (Roswell, Ga.) marched into the semifinals of the USTA Clay Court Invitational after a pair of victories on Friday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex's Grand Cypress Courts.
Keegan knocked off top-seeded and No. 18-ranked Plaun Burgmans from Auburn, , 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-2, before taking down Texas Tech's Lynn Kiro in the quarterfinals, 6-4, 6-3. The Gator rookie continues action on Saturday morning at the Disney/ESPN Courts.
Gator freshman Belinda Woolcock (Melbourne, Australia) won her round of 16 match, 6-2, 5-7, 6-0, before falling, 7-6 (4), 6-3, in the quarterfinals.
Stefani Stojic (Melbourne, Australia) dropped her round of 16 match to Florida State's second-seeded and No. 46-ranked Daneika Borthwick, 6-1, 6-2, but later rebounded on the doubles court, where she and Keegan advanced to the quarterfinals after an 8-6 win against Tulsa's team of Saarteinen and Kuricova.
