
Gators Split Coast to Coast for Feb. 14-15 Competition

GAINESVILLE, Fla. --- For the final weekend of competition leading up to the 2014 SEC Indoor Championships in College Station, the No. 2/4 (m)/(w) Florida track and field teams will split four ways, coast to coast, Feb. 14-15 before a two-week training period leading up to SECs Feb. 27.
The Gator distance crew will represent the Orange and Blue at the Husky Classic in Seattle Feb. 14-15, and on the east coast, senior middle-distance runner Cory McGee will have the unique opportunity to compete at the Millrose Games in New York City in the iconic Wanamaker Mile Saturday afternoon at approximately 4:15 p.m. Florida will take a small contingent of men's DMR to the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa, Feb. 14-15, where several relay members will hit the track for individual events as well, and the majority of the University of Florida track and field squad will head to the Lone Star State for competition at the Texas A&M Invitational Feb. 15.
