GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- University of Florida swimming and diving Head Coach Gregg Troy addressed the media on Monday following a weekend away from the competition pool. Both the men's and women's squads are preparing for this week's Buckeye Invite -- a three-day championship style invitational which will begin on Friday and conclude on Sunday, at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavillion in Columbus, Ohio.
The Orange and Blue will compete in a long-course (50-meter pool) setting during the preliminary sessions while swimming short-course yards during the finals periods. The Florida divers will compete from all three boards throughout the weekend.
In today's presser, Coach Troy talks where the Gators are at in their season, this week's matchups at the Buckeye Invitational, and much more.

Looking Ahead:
Looking beyond this week's Buckeye Invitational, both the men's and women's swim teams will take a break from competition until December 3-5, when they compete at the USA Swimming Nationals in Federal Way, Washington. The Florida divers will also take a break from their competition schedule before they travel to Indianapolis, Indiana, from December 15-20, for the USA Diving Nationals.
