GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Seven members from both the second-ranked University of Florida men's and 15th-ranked women's swimming and diving teams have combined to lead the Southeastern Conference in 15 separate events. In addition, five of those Gator events also hold the fastest times in the country as of November 3, 2015.
In addition to the Gators' individual performances, the most recent College Swimming and College Swimming Coaches Associations of America (CSCAA) rankings were released this afternoon. Both polls have the Florida men and women among their respective top-15 rankings.
The Florida men came in at No. 2 in the College Swimming Top-25 Polls, and No. 3 nationally in the CSCAA Polls.
The UF women are currently ranked No. 15 in the College Swimming polls and No. 6 nationally in the CSCAA polls.

The Orange and Blue are coming off their second long-course (50-meter pool) meet this season where they displayed a number of strong races against the visiting Georgia Bulldogs. The Gators swam to four U.S. Olympic Trial-qualifying times, 11 wins, and seven career-best performances.
Both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams will return to action this Friday, November 6, at 2 p.m. inside the Stephen C. O'Connell Center when they square off with SEC foe South Carolina. The meet will be broadcast live on SEC Network+.
