SEC Championships: Day Two Prelim Results

AUBURN, Ala. – The University of Florida No. 1 men's and No.4-ranked women's swimming & diving teams competed in the day two prelims at the SEC Championships in the James E. Martin Aquatic Center in Auburn, Ala.
Today's prelims featured the men's and women's 50-yard and 500-yard freestyle events, 200-yard individual medley race and the women's one-meter dive.
In the pool, the Gators registered six NCAA 'B' provisional marks, meanwhile, UF had five divers compete one the one-meter (men) and three-meter (women) boards.
Tonight's finals, which begin at 7:00 p.m. ET, will have the same events that were in this morning's prelims but will also feature the men's and women's 200-yard freestyle relay. UF had 23 swimmers qualify for tonight's finals and four individual's clock NCAA automatic qualifying marks throughout the morning. On the boards, junior Kahlia Warner missed out on the one-meter dive finals by 5.30 points, as she finished placed ninth in the prelims with a score of 285.40.
Florida's women are in fourth place, while the Gator men are in eighth entering tonight's finals.
