GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The indoor championship season is here! The Florida men's and women's track and field squads will hit the road for Lexington, Ky., this week looking to add two SEC titles to the tally at Nutter Field House.
Gator head coach Mike Holloway met with the media Monday morning to preview SECs, which run Feb. 27-28 in Lexington.
Florida owns 14 SEC Indoor Championships, six on the men's side and eight in women's action. Florida's women will look to defend their 2014 indoor championship while aiming for their fourth indoor crown in the last six years. The men's squad last won SEC indoors in 2011.

The Orange and Blue own the top mark in the SEC in eight different events between UF's men's and women's teams, and the Gators will be looking for more in Lexington. While Florida has its eyes on the ultimate prize in two league trophies, securing qualifying times for NCAA Indoors is also a priority.
This year's SEC Indoor Championships, hosted by the University of Kentucky, will stream live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN. Both days of competition Friday (http://es.pn/1znNIkc) and Saturday (http://es.pn/1BmaBtZ) will stream live online.
