
Florida Looks for 10th-Straight Win on Sunday Against Mississippi State

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 2 Florida Gators have a chance to earn their 10th-straight victory and remain perfect in the Southeastern Conference when they host No. 27 Mississippi State on Sunday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex.
Florida is undefeated in the all-time series with Mississippi State, 35-0, including a 16-0 record in Gainesville.
In their first appearance at the Ring since March 1, the Gators took down No. 17 Ole Miss, 5-2. Spencer Liang and Belinda Woolcock clinched a thrilling doubles event in a tiebreaker, 8-7 (5). Freshman Josie Kuhlman recorded the match-winning victory at No. 2 singles, while sophomore Kourtney Keegan, junior Brianna Morgan and freshman Peggy Porter helped lift the Orange and Blue to victory with additional singles wins.
Last Time:
In the last meeting between the Gators and the Bulldogs, UF came away with a 4-0 win in Starkville, Miss. Sophomore Stefani Stojic clinched the win for Florida.

Florida holds a 433-29 all-time record against Southeastern Conference opponents including postseason matchups, and a 366-19 mark in regular-season matches (6-0 this season).

Junior Brianna Morgan has clinched a team-leading five matches for the Gators. She has not dropped a set in her last five singles matches.
Going the Distance in Doubles:
The Gators are 11-0 in dual matches when winning the doubles point this season. The No. 1 Florida tandem, No. 5-ranked Brooke Austin and Kourtney Keegan, and No. 2 pairing, Spencer Liang and Belinda Woolcock, have each dropped just one doubles match in dual matches this season.
Porter's Progress:
Freshman Peggy Porter has posted a singles point in five of her last six outings and is undefeated in conference singles.
