VOLLEYBALL IS BACK! #GoGators
The 2015 University of Florida volleyball season officially got started Saturday evening with the Gators' annual preseason team dinner at Florida head coach Mary Wise's house…after Nike Christmas, that is!
With the gang back together, good food, summer stories and reflections, laughs and plenty of picture opportunities ensued at Saturday's team dinner to carry the Gators into Sunday's photo day.
For five seniors in Simone Antwi, Mackenzie Dagostino, Gabby Mallette, Nikki O'Rourke and éiva Recek, picture and video day provided a full schedule -- including headshots, portraits, video board video intros and team pictures -- marking the first of all the lasts for the Gators senior clan, capped off by the traditional 'goofy' team picture (where not much acting went on, might add!).
The necessary annual compliance meeting capped off Sunday's preseason fun before reporting day Monday.
Florida went to work on the first day of camp with a busy two-a-day schedule, which proved to be impressive to the Gators' coaching staff.
