Gators Selected to Win 2016 SEC Title

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The No. 3-ranked University of Florida women's tennis team has been picked to win the 2016 SEC title, the league announced this afternoon.
The Gators finish just ahead of reigning NCAA Champions, the Vanderbilt Commodores. UF took home the program's 28th SEC regular season title in 2015 and will look for their 29th in 2016.
The Orange and Blue return seven letterwinners from the 2015 squad with the addition of Russia native Anna Danilina. Seven Gators are currently ranked in the Oracle ITA Preseason rankings
The preseason poll is voted on by the women's tennis head coach at each institution and is based on a 14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 vote.
