UF senior honored by SEC following upset over No. 10 Auburn
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- University of Florida senior Natalie Hinds has been named the Southeastern Conference Female Swimmer of the Week following a four-win performance in UF's 192-108 win over the No. 10 Auburn Tigers on Jan. 23. The conference announced the recognition on Tuesday.
Hinds, a Midland, Texas, native, got off to a fast start in Saturday's meet, swimming to a first-place finish in the 50-Meter freestyle after clocking a U.S. Olympic Trial-qualifying time of 26.10.
The American sprinter added to the win list with top finishes in the 100-Meter freestyle (57.03), 100-Meter butterfly (1:02.06) and 400-Meter freestyle relay (3:54.03). A 16-time All-American, Hinds registered 38 points to close out the dual win.

Both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to action on the road Saturday when they travel to Knoxville, Tennessee, for their final regular-season dual against the Volunteers.
