GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida faces Auburn Sunday for NCAA Women's Soccer Third Round action. The match starts at 2 p.m. at the Donald R. Dizney Stadium.
This will be the 25
th meeting between the two Southeastern Conference rivals, with Sunday's match being the first meeting in NCAA action.

Tickets for Sunday's matches match are $7 for adults and $3 for children (12 and under), students and senior citizens.
The first 200 UF student showing at Gator1 card are admitted free.

Florida in NCAA Second Round:
The golden goal off the right foot of
Brooke Sharp in the 107
th minute gave Florida a 3-2 double overtime win over Wisconsin in the NCAA Second Round. Friday's match saw the Gators lead, tie, fall behind, tie again and then score the game-winner. Both teams opened their scoring with a second-half penalty kick, with senior
Meggie Dougherty Howard scoring the first in the 53
rd minute. The Badgers scored their PK in the 66
th minute and hit the go-ahead goal in the 77
th minute. Dougherty Howard, who played a part in each of Florida's three goals Friday, sent the corner kick which was scored as an own goal. The match went to overtime – the seventh of the season for UF and a NCAA-leading 11
th for Wisconsin.
The decisive play started with a through ball from
Mayra Pelayo to Dougherty Howard. The square ball from Dougherty Howard was one-touched in from 10 yards by Sharp. It was Sharp's second golden goal of the last three matches, as she also scored the winner in the SEC Tournament final.
Florida advances to the NCAA Round of 16 for the third consecutive season and for the 12th time in the program's 20 NCAA appearances.
Tense Second Round for Top Seeds:
Three of the four No. 1 region seeds played double overtime NCAA Second Round matches, with one (Stanford) being eliminated.
About the Auburn Tigers:
Auburn is making its 14
th appearance in the NCAA Championship field and third consecutive. AU used the biggest offensive output in the 16 NCAA Second Round matches – a 4-1 win over Connecticut – to advance to its second straight NCAA Third Round appearance. The Tigers claimed a 2016 NCAA at-large berth and are one of three SEC programs advancing to NCAA Third Round play. Auburn took second in SEC regular-season play with a 9-2 record, which includes a 3-0 win over Florida in Gainesville on Sept. 22.
Junior Kristen Dodson, who scored twice against the Gators earlier this season, set the Tigers single-season points record Friday with her four-point effort (1 goal, 2 assists). She shares the team's goals lead (12) with senior Casie Ramsier. Sophomore Sarah Le Beau owns a GAA of 1.09 and has six shutouts.
Karen Hoppa is in her 18
th season as Auburn's head coach.
