The team leader of the NCAA Championship through Round 1 is Oklahoma State University with a score of -4 (284). The individual leaders of the tournament are Haley Moore (Arizona) and August Kim (Purdue) with a score of -4 (68).
After the first three rounds are completed on Sunday, the top 15 teams will advance to play a fourth round on Monday to determine the top eight teams and the individual champion. The top eight teams will go on to compete in match play on Tuesday and Wednesday to determine the ultimate national champion.
Head Coach Emily Glaser on the opening round:
"It wasn't our best start, but we were only one score away from a really solid day. But we have three more days to make a move, and I know this team is talented enough to do that by playing smart, assertive golf. The golf course is scoreable. We just need to shift our focus a bit and start viewing it that way and see all the positives that are out there waiting."
