A freak injury taught her a big lesson.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – She broke what? And when? Why would Hilda Luthersdottir still compete at the Olympic Games with such a painful injury?
The Gator Great shares how a freak injury in the days leading up to the games where she was swimming for her home country of Iceland taught her a big lesson.
"While everyone else in the call room was nervous and freaking out, I was just going to chill," Luthersdottir shared about competing at the 2012 Olympic Games with the fracture.
Watch for Hilda in Rio, where she is scheduled to compete in the 100-meter breast and 200 breast.
