GAINESVILLE, Fla. - A pair of women's basketball seniors were among the total of 20 University of Florida student-athletes who participated in this Saturday's commencement ceremonies in the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
Carla Batchelor earned a batchelor's degree in African American Studies, while Viktoria Dimaite completed coursework for a mater's in Recreation, Parks and Tourism. Dimaite has already earned two bachelor's degress during her tenure.
All five seniors from Florida's 2015-16 class have earned at least a bachelor's degree.
Dimaite was among six student-athletes who will be receiving master's degrees this weekend - Josh Grady (football), Austin Manganiello (men's swimming), Mark Mutz (men's track & field), Viktorija Dimaite (women's basketball), Jayla Bostic (women's track & field) and Simone Antwi (volleyball).
