LEHIGH, Pa. – Coming off a pair of sweeps to open the season, the Florida men's and women's cross country teams will face their first true tests of the 2016 season, as the Gators travel to the highly-competitive Paul Short Run in Lehigh, Pa.

Five women's teams and four men's teams are either ranked or received votes in the latest edition of the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association rankings.

UF's men were paced by senior Carlos Miranda at each of its first two races, while senior Taylor Tubbs and freshman Jessica Pascoe each led the Gators in one race this year.

This will be Florida's second trip to the Paul Short Run since 2005, though only its women traveled to Lehigh in 2014. The Gators finished eighth overall behind top-40 performances from three of their runners. Tubbs was one of the three, placing 21st overall.
