Florida will once again treat fans to its 3D court projection video prior to first serve
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida, the nation's only remaining undefeated team, caps a four-match homestand against Georgia Sunday (Oct. 8) afternoon. First serve inside Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center is set for 1:30 p.m. ET.
Florida will once again utilize its 3D court projection video for introductions. Through its partnership with Quince Imaging, as well as composition assistance from Old Hat Creative, the Gators' court projection went viral across the collegiate volleyball landscape upon its debut prior to last month's Florida-Florida State match.
The top-ranked Gators are coming off a rocky four-set win over Texas A&M Wednesday (Oct. 4) night, which elevated their overall record to 12-0. It is the fourth-best start in program history, behind only 16-0 starts in 1987 and 2007, as well as a 28-0 start in 1995.
Florida also enters Sunday's match with a 4-0 record in Southeastern Conference play. Only the Gators and No. 10 Kentucky are unbeaten in league matches.
Head coach Mary Wise, now in her 27th season with the Gators and 31st overall as a head coach, enters the match with 887 career victories, the eighth-most in Division I history. A win would tie former Pacific and Stanford head coach John Dunning for the seventh-most wins in Division I history and 13th-most wins in NCAA history (all three divisions).
SEC Network + will provide live streaming via Watch ESPN. The match will also be broadcast over the radio airwaves of ESPN Gainesville 98.1 FM / 850 AM.
