Kelly Grassel, who is competing as an individual, took the individual lead on Monday. She posted a three-under (68) in the second round to move up two spots on the leaderboard, with a one-shot lead. Karolina Vlckova jumped up the leaderboard on Monday into a tie for eighth place, carding four birdies and finishing the day at two-under (69).
Head Coach Emily Glaser:
Thoughts on the Gators' second round:
"I'm really happy with the effort today, and we shot a great team score. To be honest, I know we have a few players who are unhappy with their finish, but it's a good lesson about staying present and focused until the end. I know we will learn from it. Tomorrow will be a battle and we are all looking forward to the opportunity."
