Gators in NFL Combine: How They Fared
Tuesday, March 7, 2017 | Football
Florida has had 224 players invited to the NFL Combine, which is the most in the SEC.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Eight former Gators participated in the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine over the past four days, with six taking part in the testing and on-field workouts.
"We have eight guys here, all deserving," linebacker Alex Anzalone said last Sunday. "It's pretty cool. Some other schools have more, but we have a unique group. We have potentially four first-rounders. That speaks volumes about the University of Florida."
That "unique group" created quite a buzz in Indianapolis as they went through a series of drills, tests and interviews with NFL personnel (including coaching staffs, executives, player personnel and medical staffs). Last weekend amounted to a major job interview for the athletes to participate in ahead of the 2017 NFL Draft on April 27-29.
UF's eight combine invitees as well as 11 other former Gators will have one more chance to impress scouts and talent evaluators prior to the draft.
The Gators will host their Pro Day on March 28 at Florida's Indoor Practice Facility.
Here are the measurements and results for all eight Florida players in Indy:

Florida OT David Sharpe is an interesting athlete too. Tape doesn't match up w/his fluidity in drills, but ideally wide frame + arm length.

Good note/reminder from @MoveTheSticks - Florida OT David Sharpe was late off snap of ball because he was legally blind in right eye
