
LaCaze Runs Season-Best Time in World Championships Final

Three Gators could compete in this weekend's relays, which will close the World Championships
LaCaze, the Australian record holder, was the first Aussie ever to run a World Championships 3,000-meter steeplechase final.

Saturday (Aug. 12) and Sunday (Aug. 13), the final days of action at the World Championships, could feature as many as three Gators. Relay teams have yet to be announced, but follow @GatorsTF on Twitter for updates regarding relay team selections for both the preliminaries and finals.
Gators in the mix to run relays are Kyra Jefferson (United States, 4x100), two-time World Championships gold medalist Tony McQuay (United States, 4x400), and six-time World Championships medalist Novlene Williams-Mills (Jamaica, 4x400).
