Gators Primed For Season Opener

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Due to the potential impact of Hurricane Irma, the Florida Cross Country teams will compete in its first race of the season Thursday, Sept. 6 at the North Florida Invitational.
The meet, originally scheduled for Saturday morning, will take place at the Hayt Golf Learning Center starting at 5 p.m.
Florida was slated to finish eighth overall on both the men's and women's sides in the 2017 Southeastern Conference Cross Country Preseason Coaches' Poll and the United State Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association south region rankings.
