GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 11 Florida volleyball team returns to Exactech Arena for a SEC matchup with Alabama on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
The match will stream live on the SEC Network + at 1:30 p.m.
Florida enters the match with a 16-3 overall record and a 7-0 record in SEC play. The Crimson Tide currently sit at 15-5 on the year and 2-4 in the conference.
UF holds the 45-0 series advantage over Alabama, including a 20-0 record in Gainesville, Fla.
The Gators won the last meeting, 3-0, on Sept. 30, 2018 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Florida won the first two sets, 25-20, then clinched the match with a 26-24 victory in the final set.
The middles led the way offensively for UF, with Taelor Kellum recording a career-best 12 kills and Rachael Kramer registering 10 of her own.
Allie Monserez dished out 18 assists, while Marlie Monserez registered 15 of her own.
The Gators were a force at the net defensively, recording 11 team blocks – including six by Kramer.
Florida is looking to go 8-0 in the SEC for 20th time under head coach Mary Wise and extend its winning streak to 13 matches.
