Thoughts from Coach Wise
  • "As we predicted, the match looked differently than it did just two weeks ago. Credit Alabama on how well they controlled the first contact. We got solid production out of the entire team, but in particular, we got great production out of Holly Carlton."
Players' Corner
Taelor Kellum
  • "It was nice to get the win in three. There were some areas in which we struggled today – we could've played cleaner today, but we executed when we needed to. When the balls were there, we put it away, but when we were out of system we struggled a bit. Overall, we did a good job."
Holly Carlton
  • "We are pleased with the sweep. Alabama played a great match this afternoon and this was our first repeat opponent in the SEC, so we knew they were going to have some new tactics and an extra edge coming in to this match. They did a phenomenal job defensively, but overall we followed the game plan well and stayed steady through the three sets."
