
Kramer Named SEC Defensive Player of the Week

Junior MB averaged 1.60 blocks per set over the weekend
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After a career performance at South Carolina, junior Rachael Kramer was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week.
Against the Gamecocks, Kramer recorded a career-high nine blocks to move Florida to a perfect 7-0 record in the SEC. The nine blocks are the fourth-highest total for a SEC player this season. She also pitched in 11 kills in the match, hitting .350.
Kramer put up another great blocking performance against Alabama, averaging 1.67 blocks per set.
The junior middle blocker averaged 1.75 blocks per set, 2.00 kills per set and 3.13 points per set over the weekend.
Currently, Kramer sits third overall in the SEC in blocks per set, averaging 1.27 per set. She is also seventh in hitting percentage, with a .338 clip.
In conference play, the Phoenix, Ariz. native leads the league in blocks per set, with 1.60.
Kramer and the Gators are back in action on Friday night in Oxford, Miss. Florida takes on Ole Miss at 8:30 p.m. ET before returning home to face Missouri on Sunday at 1 p.m.
