Florida kicks off its four-match stretch to close out the season on Friday against the Tigers

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 13 Florida Gators welcome the LSU Tigers to Exactech Arena on Friday night in the homestretch of the regular season.
Florida (21-5, 12-2) currently sits third in the SEC, while LSU (11-14, 6-8) sits seventh.
This is the first of four matches in eight days for the Gators – the team travels to Georgia on Sunday, No. 22 Tennessee on Wednesday and closes out the regular season on Friday, Nov. 23 at home against South Carolina.
UF holds the 43-13 series advantage over LSU, including a 40-5 record under Mary Wise.
Florida won the last meeting in straight sets on Sept. 26, 2018 in Baton Rouge, La. The Gators took the first set in a close fashion, winning 25-23. Florida then went up 2-0 in the match after winning the second frame 25-21 and clinched the match victory with a 25-17 win in set 3.
Thayer Hall led the team offensively with 11 kills, followed by 10 from Holly Carlton. Rachael Kramer and Taelor Kellum both pitched in seven of their own.
The Monserezs combined for 35 assists – 23 coming from Allie Monserez and 12 coming from Marlie Monserez.
The team as a whole recorded 10 blocks, led by five apiece from Racheal Kramer and Holly Carlton. Allie Gregory had command of the backcourt defense, registering 11 digs on the night.
Florida is looking to continue its streak of winning at least 22 matches in a season, which they have done for 28 consecutive years.

- Honorary First Serve: Amanda Cheney of the Gymnastics team will give the honorary first serve

- Rowdy Tunnel: UF students can line the tunnel to cheer on the Gators as they run out onto the court
