ATHENS, Ga. – The No. 13 Florida Gators swept the Georgia Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon in Stegeman Coliseum.
Florida moves to 23-5 on the year and 14-2 in the SEC, good for second place overall. Georgia drops to 13-14 on the year and 4-12 in the SEC.
Florida won the first set handily, 25-13 and followed with a convincing 25-11 victory in the second. UF then secured the match victory with a 25-20 win in the final set to move to 23-5 on the year.
The Gators hit .323 in the match and held Georgia to just a .023 hit clip. This match is the eighth time this season that Florida has held a team to below .100.
Rachael Kramer paced the offense for the Gators, registering 11 kills on the afternoon. Paige Hammons followed with six kills, while Taelor Kellum and Holly Carlton both pitched in five kills.
Kramer's .667 hitting percentage is a season-best for her. Taelor Kellum (.571) and Paige Hammons (.357) both hit over .350 during the match as well.

How It Happened
- Florida held all the momentum in the first set, coming out to an early 8-4 advantage. UF continued to build that lead, going on a 12-6 run in order to go up 20-10. Florida then closed out the set thanks to two Gator kills and five Bulldog errors.
- The Gators hit an astounding .571 in the first set and held the Bulldogs to a .111 hit clip. Rachael Kramer led the way with five kills and Paige Hammons added two.
- Service runs really made the difference in the second set for the Gators: Allie Gregory led the team with a five-point service run to start off the set, then closed it out with another four-point run. Allie Monserez and Paige Hammons both posted runs of their own as well, with four points and three points, respectively.
- Florida hit .235 in the second set, holding Georgia to a -.111 hit clip along the way. Rachael Kramer and Holly Carlton both posted three kills in the frame to led the offense.
- The Gators found themselves down 13-10 in the middle of the third frame, but after a Florida timeout, UF fought back to take the 14-13 lead. From that point on, the teams traded points until the set was tied 20-20. The Gators then went on a 5-0 run to close out the set and secure the match.
- UF held Georgia to a .061 hit clip in the final set. Rachael Kramer led the way with three kills, while Paige Hammons and Taelor Kellum each posted two in the frame.
