
Four Gators travel to Arizona for Oracle ITA Fall Championships

SURPRISE, Ariz. – Four Florida men's tennis team will be back in action at the nation's culminating event of the fall portion of the college tennis season. Some of the nation's best singles and doubles players will compete at the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.
The tournament features competitors from all five divisions (NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA and JUCO) and will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 7. The men's and women's singles finals will stream live on ESPN3 and the ESPN App on Sunday, November 11th, beginning at 10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EDT, with the women's final.
Sophomore Brian Berdusco and junior Johannes Ingildsen will serve as the only doubles duo in the tournament for the Gators. The pair earned their ticket to Surprise with their doubles championship at the ITA Southeastern Regionals.
Ingildsen and sophomores Duarte Vale and Andy Andrade earned at-large bids into the singles draw. Ingildsen leads the Gators with a 10-4 singles record and was ranked No. 11 in the preseason ranking. Vale, No. 57, and Andrade, No. 100, come into the tournament with a 5-4 fall singles matches.

The men's and women's singles champions will receive main draw wildcards into a 2019 Oracle Challenger Series tournament.
